1. Who We AreGechi Jets LLC is an air charter broker based in Florida. We arrange private air transportation on behalf of our clients by sourcing and booking aircraft through independent, properly certificated third-party air carriers and aircraft operators. We act solely as an air charter broker and as the agent of our client. Gechi Jets is not a direct air carrier. We do not own, lease, operate, maintain, or control aircraft, and we do not exercise operational control over any flight. Operational control of every flight, including all decisions on safety, aircraft, crew, and scheduling, rests exclusively with the certificated operator conducting the flight. Before you enter into a charter contract for a specific flight, we will disclose the name of the direct air carrier that will have operational control of your aircraft, and provide additional operator information on request.
2. How Booking WorksYou send a trip request; we provide a quote sourced from operators; on acceptance you electronically sign our Master Charter Agreement and a trip-specific Charter Confirmation (together the binding contract); payment is made per the Confirmation; and once cleared payment is received, the flight is confirmed and dispatched. This website is general information only; the binding terms are your signed documents, which are controlling in any conflict.
3. Pricing and Additional ChargesThe quoted price covers the aircraft charter services in your Charter Confirmation. Additional charges may apply and are invoiced separately, including de-icing, catering, ground transportation, international handling, customs fees, passenger-requested schedule changes, additional flight time, and other third-party expenses incurred on your behalf. Rates are not guaranteed until payment is confirmed.
A processing surcharge of 5.5% applies to credit card payments.
4. PaymentAccepted methods: wire transfer, ACH, and credit card via our payment provider. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, full payment must be received in cleared funds before departure. We may require an advance deposit. The aircraft is held subject to availability until funds are received, and rates are not guaranteed until payment is confirmed. Additional charges may be invoiced separately and are payable on demand.
5. Cancellation and Refund PolicyAll cancellation requests must be submitted to us in writing. Cancellation fees are assessed per your Charter Confirmation and the operating carrier's cancellation policy, plus any non-recoverable costs already incurred. Non-refundable expenses incurred before cancellation remain your responsibility.
Because each charter is operated by a third-party carrier, cancellation terms follow that operator's policy, disclosed at booking.
6. Schedule Changes, Delays, and Aircraft SubstitutionAll schedules are estimates. Flights may be delayed, rerouted, substituted, or canceled due to weather, ATC restrictions, mechanical/airworthiness considerations, crew availability, airport conditions, government action, or safety. Client-requested changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges; no change is binding until confirmed in writing. The operator may substitute a comparable or superior aircraft when necessary.
7. Passengers, Documentation, and ConductPassenger names and required information must be provided at least 4 hours before departure. Clients/passengers are solely responsible for all required travel documents (passports, visas, customs) for international travel. Passengers must comply with all laws and crew/operator instructions; illegal substances, prohibited weapons, and disruptive conduct are not permitted, and the operator may refuse carriage for safety, security, or regulatory reasons.
8. Limitation of LiabilityOur role is limited to arranging transportation through third-party operators. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gechi Jets is not liable for acts, omissions, negligence, delays, cancellations, injuries, losses, or damages arising from aircraft operation; is not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, punitive, or special damages; and its aggregate liability shall not exceed the brokerage fees actually received for the applicable charter.
9. Force MajeureNeither Gechi Jets nor the operator is liable for delays, cancellations, or inability to perform caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including weather, ATC restrictions, government action, mechanical airworthiness issues, airport closures, labor disruptions, public health emergencies, and acts of God.
10. Governing Law and DisputesGoverned by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes are first addressed by good-faith negotiation; any unresolved dispute is submitted to binding arbitration in Miami-Dade County, Florida, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
