Bal Harbour

The open-air shopping arcade at the north end of the beach, where the fashion houses and jewellers sit under palms and koi ponds. The oceanfront hotels are across Collins Avenue, and the marinas of Haulover are a few minutes north.

The Design District

Eighteen blocks north of downtown given over to fashion houses, galleries and design showrooms, built around Paradise Plaza and a sculpture garden. It sits between Wynwood's murals and the Miami Beach causeways, and the restaurants fill in the evening.

South Beach

The art deco hotels of Collins Avenue and Ocean Drive, restored in pastel and neon, and the wide beach behind them. Lincoln Road for the cafés, the marina at the southern tip for the boats, and the causeways back to the mainland in fifteen minutes.
